Acid Reflux is an exhibition that examines humanity’s uneasy cycle of dispossession, destruction, rebirth, and transformation in an age shaped by both ecological upheaval and rapid technological evolution. Taking its name from the body’s reaction to imbalance and its synonymous connection with digestion and understanding, Acid Reflux explores how the environment absorbs, resists, or metabolizes human influence. In this accelerated environment, the boundaries between author and audience shift. Culture becomes something we co-produce and co-consume in real time, raising questions about ownership, originality, and the collective imprint we leave behind.
Acid Reflux invites you to witness how our community faces these challenges of cultural shift, structural transformation, and reclamation. It becomes a site that asks: How do art, design, and community participate in shaping culture amid constant technological advancements and precarity? Join us in this exploration of identity and labor that emerges from a world that is in perpetual flux and imbalance.
