//Avec was founded by Camillia BenBassat in 2006 and has worked on the design and implementation of brand identity systems, comprehensive websites and mobile applications. The approach to work is rooted in strong conceptual foundations that reveal elegant and simple design solutions. She looks to collaborate with clients in a comprehensive process that is rooted in a collaborative approach: each project is more than just a working partnership between the client and Avec, the goal is to build lasting, ongoing relationships. Prior to //Avec, Camillia worked at international branding agency, Enterprise IG (now The Brand Union), where she was senior designer on several brand engagement, identity and packaging projects with such clients as American Express, Hewlett-Packard, Caterpillar and Pernod Ricard. During her career, Camillia has also worked with Macromedia (now Adobe), Maverick Recording Company, Sony Music, BSkyB Broadcasting and Laurence King Publishing. Camillia’s work has been published in several books including 1000 Fonts, The Freelance Design Handbook and All Access: The Making of Thirty Extraordinary Graphic Designers. Avec’s awards include Print’s Regional Design Annual and Step Design 100. Avec’s work with greentechmedia.com was honored with a Webby Award, the first time the ‘green’ category was introduced.
