Chris Reilly is a Los Angeles-based artist, hacker and teacher. He received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2006, and will receive a MFA from UCLA’s Design | Media Arts Department in 2013. Working individually and collaboratively, his artwork explores a spectrum of personal, corporeal, and technological relationships: from the deeply personal to the radically open. He employs media including robotics, games, sculpture, performance, open-source hardware/software and community building. Since 2003, he has shown work in solo and group exhibitions in the US and abroad.
