It is about my relationship with these three plants and consequently, the people, places, and things that are associated with them. Food insecurity is closer to home than we think. Food Insecurity is a game in response to hunger in America. In the game, players each take the role of a low income individual. Their task is to purchase food (in the form of cards) every day (each round) to meet their calorie intake requirement. The player with the most healthy points at the end of the game is the winner. Food Insecurity

The artist rotoscoped each frame by hand of an original video, utilizing the contours of the paper folding to create abstractions and movement.

the absurd kind of uniformity is a phrase taken from Walter Benjamin's Illuminations: Essays and Reflections, "On Some Motifs in Baudelaire." The project includes a portfolio of various book covers designed for Benjamin's Illuminations and a documentation of a type sculpture, which highlights the word "unifomity" from Benjamin's text. The package includes an introduction card, eight booklets representing eight weeks of designing book covers, and a mini poster documenting the hand-cut newsprint type sculpture. Sugarcoated

A Love-Hate Relationship is a collection of handmade mixed-media ceramic sculptures and planters. Revolving around the idea of man-made nature, this collection delves on the relationship between aesthetics and function, ultimately echoing the simple beauty and beneficial role of nature. The collection of ceramic pieces, while mimicking organic forms and patterns found in nature, were created through the process of mold making and ceramic slip casting, as well as some freehand work. There is a flower bouquet like arrangement of white cup shaped objects. On the rim of all objects is a mossy green kind of material. There are splashes of darker green paint inside the cups.

There is an arrangement of white bowl like objects with lots of holes on the edges connected with twine. The overall shape looks like a curve. Inside each of the bowls is blue or green paint on the very bottom.
