about senselabthe recent proliferation of "how to" culture expresses itself in weblogs, magazines, television shows, alternative schools, and workshops. the senselab is a symptom of this culture: a laboratory focusing on integrating technology with art and design, with the requisite education process (a school within a school). while the "how to" culture often spends very little time asking why, this laboratory encourages critical thought about DIY, objecthood, interactivity, craft, entertainment, research, and technology.
